Monday was the deadline for reporting April contributions and expenditures for campaigns here in Washington. Now that six months remain until election day, PolitickerWA.com will begin a monthly rundown of the financial status of the state's top races.
Here is how things stand as of April 30, 2008. The first number listed is contributions, the second number is expenditures and the third number is the difference between the two. Precluding any unusual circumstances, that third number is equal to cash on hand. The candidate with the most cash on hand is listed at the top of each section.

I'm Running in the State House in the 36th District Also!
I realize that your post came out some time ago and my fundraising has not amounted to much but I do want folks to know that I am in the race. I am in the race to bring balance and choice to Olympia. I want to do this with honesty, ethics and common sense.
I want to help make Washington's schools "great" and I have spoken with people that have proven ways to help accomplish this. I want to help fix our transportation problems--this "congestion by design" stinks. My first choice is to retrofit the viaduct and this can be done if we listen to the engineers that have our best interests at heart rather than some politicians.
I want to tackle property tax reform--too many people are afraid of being taxed out of their homes.
I do not want a state income tax--as both of my opponents do! I am a moderate Republican that believes in pro-choice and marriage equality.
Please check out my website: www.blossforthe36th.com and my blog: emeraldcitytalk.com/wordpress for more information.
Thank you,
