Evergreen Progress, the 527 interest group backing Gov. Chris Gregoire and fueled by more than a million dollars mostly from labor unions and the Democratic Governors Association, is unleashing its second series of ads critical of Republican Dino Rossi's record as a state senator.
The two ads, each one 15 seconds long, mention Rossi's votes against smaller class sizes and against giving veteran teachers raises. Though, as David Postman comments, Rossi's votes on the subjects were echoed by a number of Democrats at the time, including the-Governor Gary Locke.
Postman has the videos here.

PAC battle shapes up as Evergreen Progress stockpiles cash
The problem with Washington isn't Rossi,
Beau, he probably has not much in common with you who seems to resemble all that is wrong with democracy and Washington state. Please learn to use proper grammar. What does wealth have to do with someone not understanding a Washingtonian? Am I to suddenly believe that not only are Washingtonian impoverished but also do not understand business at any level? Honestly, are you serious? Let's put the political bull that has everyone's blinders on so seriously tight. I find it ridiculously rude and down right idiotic that wealth would make any one person unable to understand Washington state. Most politicians including Gregoire are wealthy. Most politicians come from political families. However with all due respect, from my knowledge Rossi started as an entrepreneur, and it's my belief that he may be able to bring fresh ideas to a very stagnate Washington. Yes, I "understand" that his being right wing seems problematic for most however with the state that Washington is in, isn't what change most democrats seem to be seeking? It is men like Beau that makes me ashamed of living in Washington with their seriously delusional views of government and who is allowed to run for various offices. I get that the point of these progressive idiots suffering from mental disorders is to distort the truth as to vilify Dino Rossi. However I think these kind of ads show how dirty most are willing to go. (And let me make one thing clear, unlike most democrats, as a Republican I am always willing to hold my own accountable for their actions. Too bad most democrats don't have that same integrity, and for those that do, you have my nod of approval.)
Dino Rossi has nothing in common with washingtonians!
DR CW: i don't believe a word you say. you're nothing more than rossi hack.
dino rossi is a very wealthy man. he should do what other rich people do; buy a yacht, move to florida, and hang out with other rich folk.
dino rossi has NO BUSINESS getting involved in the lives of regular people.
when i saw the anti rossi ads, i was so happy!!!! rossi OBVIOUSLY has ulterior motives. he's NOT the friend of the common man.
he's richfilth.
expect my donation soon!!!

"Your web site quotes Rossi voted to deny unemployment benefits to domestic abuse victims who flee their homes and jobs for safety
As a person who is a victim of stalking in WA, with a lifetime - permanent - order of protection (the only one of it s kind in the state) I would like you to know that I was denied employment security when I applied under this regualtion, and I was also - from the inception of the ACP program denied participation - which is blatant discrimination and a violation of the US Code in regard to applying programs to selected groups of recipients, and denied my right to vote - as well as denied protection under the WA Whistleblower legislation because of my effort to expose wrongdoing at the Department of Health involving medicaid fraud and cover up by employees of that department.
all at the hand of Mrs. Gregoire and aided by Sam Reed and a few other state employees I am happy to name.
Senator Schmidt investigated, and found a preponderance of evidence to support my claims, yet Gregoire and the state auditor refused to act.
It has been Dino Rossi who has listened to me, reviewed all of my evidence and come forward to assist me.
You should get your facts straight, correct your ads and ideally remove them because they are a disservice to all citizens."
