Gregoire, Dicks cap off the week

DENVER - Today is the final day of the Democratic Nation Convention here in Denver, and the Washington State Democrats are saving their best for last. Gov. Chris Gregoire is addressing the delegation this morning, and as a results they have added a few extra tables to the banquet room to allow for a full house so the din of the crowd is a little bit louder than usual.

Gregoire will be joined by Rep. Norm Dicks (D-Belfair), the state's senior congressman, and Kansas Lt. Governor Mark Parkinson. Parkinson is the same former Republican who wowed the crowd at June's state convention in Spokane.
