New Reichert ad slams Burner's claims of econ degree

Dave Reichert's campaign is up with a television ad called "Harvard Hoax", its fourth of the campaign season, looking to capitalize on the issue of Darcy Burner's questionable college economics degree.

"Darcy Burner had a problem," the narrator says in the ad, "no experience, no record, no credentials, so she made them up."

The ad then shows a clip of Burner speaking at a recent debate saying, "I loved economics so much I got a degree in it from Harvard."

Burner's actual degree was in computer science with a concentration in economics.

Regardless it is a matter Burner's campaign has not backed down from, creating a video of its own with a Harvard professor to back up her claims, and explaining that economics was a significant part of her degree, no matter what it was called.

Netroots gets first congressional rep in Darcy Burner

We are everywhere.. ready to respond..

So you don't want us to get our own Congressional Rep? Guess what you are too late.. Not only has Darcy raised more money that any other Dem congressional Candidate in the country but she did it online..

Check it out at act blue http://www.actblue.com/page/orangetoblue?linky you will see that she has raised $290,482 just from people on Daily Kos one of the biggest Dem grass roots blogs and over $689,668 from other Act Blue supporters.

The 8th is ours! If people there are only turning out to vote 2/3 of the time and we are willing to buy a candidate how is that any different then a national company or a lobbyist group putting stevens into office in Alaska?
Raised on this page: 8,503 290,482
Raised across ActBlue: 18,694 689,668

Darcy Running for herself not distrcit

Typical Darcy, nerdy spoiled kid that doesn't fit in who seems so obsessed with running for office that she fails to realize that to represent a district you need to actually be involve at some level with some community gruop? Not only hasn't she worked in the last 4 years but now her husband is a stay at hoe dad as well? Sorry but that is not typical of the 8th.

We all know she is willing to lie, she exaggerated the first time she ran for office claiming to be a Microsoft exec (she was an entry level pm), lied about going to law school (did she go and drop out or just tell people that she was going to go?)

With her military family, military husband and her own foray into the Miliatry in high school most people in the grass roots don't trust her to be honest. We are voting Obama, Gregoire and skipped the congressional seat. Simply being female and claiming to oppose the war just doesn't cut it when you do most of your fund-raising online with people from out of state.

If the netroots wants to change the constitution and elect their own rep great but that isn't how it works and Darcy if she really was going to represent us would know that. We have all seen how ineffective Senator Cantwell has been (another nerdy, dorky it wanna-be)and frankly Darcy is going to cost us the 8th. It is too bad that Hunter got sick.
