Reed to address top two primary

Secretary of State Sam Reed will address the Panorama Republicans this Wednesday, April 2 in Lacey according to The Olympian. Reed's talk will center around the recent court decision upholding I-872's "top two" primary, as well as recent state legislation and the creation of a new state heritage center.

Both major parties in the state strongly oppose the initiative, which bars them from declaring who their selected nominee is, and allows for the top two vote getters in the primary to move on to the general election, regardless of party.
