Democratic Congressional candidate Darcy Burner has released her first television ad Monday, her campaign said.
The 60-second spot, which highlights Burner's personal biography and spotlights some of her key campaign positions, introduces the candidate to the airwaves in the 8th Congressional District.
Burner (D-Carnation) is in the middle of a tight race with two-term incumbent U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Bellevue), a former King County Sheriff.
Reichert defeated Burner 51-48 in a 2006 race for the seat, but Burner holds a fundraising advantage over her opponent, and many expert observers consider the race a toss-up.
