Wenatchee's Don Moody has announced that he will run for Washington's Fourth Congressional position as a Democrat.
Moody, a radio personality and author, sees the need for a new approach to legislating for the people of the 4th.
"It's more a difference in philosophy," said Moody, 55. "Hastings thinks what he is doing is right. But I believe we should build our economy from the ground up, rather than offering tax cuts and letting the money trickle down."
By running as a Democrat, Moody joins Tri-Cities attorney George Fearing, who announced in February. The incumbent, Rep. Doc Hastings still has not officially entered the race but is widely expected to do so later this spring.
