Ken Henderson is a true leader in Human Rights. He worked hard in the 1990's to secure a Human Rights resolution in Whatcom County.

Western Washington University Professor and Human Rights Activist, Dr. Vernon (Damani) Johnson stated, “Ken was instrumental in passing a resolution in support of Human Rights work in Whatcom County during a very difficult political time for the Task Force. Ken stepped up to face a conservative majority in the council and with his strong backing the resolution was passed unanimously. Ken is exactly the type of strong compassionate leader that we need in the Washington State Senate.”
