It doesn't get much better on FOX than seeing the rare sight of Alan Colmes emerging from his protective shell and exposing Sean Hannity for the idiotic, hypocritical windbag he is.

Rudy GiulianiFormer New York City Mayor and one time Republican presidential frontrunner Rudolph Giuliani will be in the area to headline a fundraiser for Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Auburn) on August 25. Giuliani's turn for Reichert coincides with his participation in a motivational seminar at Seattle's Key Arena on the same day.

Money has been a major issue in the 8th District race so far, with Democratic challenger Darcy Burner (D-Carnation), who just had a fundraiser with House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), outraising Reichert so far. Through the end of July, Burner had raised $2.3 million to Reichert's $1.8 million, and their cash on hand difference is about the same as their contribution difference.

U.S. Rep. Dave ReichertU.S. News and World Reports confirmed last Friday that former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, the failed 2008 Republican presidential candidate, will be hosting a fundraiser for Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Auburn) in New York. Reichert was an early supporter of Giuliani.

Details have not yet been released, and there is still no word yet on Rudy's asking price for the event, though rumors suggest Hizzoner will be collecting the cash free of charge. A call to Giuliani's office has not yet been returned.

Washington has contributed $3,725,841 to presidential candidates this cycle, with 65% going to Democratic candidates.  Barack Obama raised the most money in Washington ($1,131,753), followed by John Edwards ($569,820), Mitt Romney ($558,273), Hillary Clinton ($453,376), John McCain ($230,978), Rudy Giuliani ($224,101), Ron Paul ($164,031), Dennis Kucinich ($41,425), and Mike Huckabee ($13,869).
