Stuffed Up and Shortchanged

Get this man some Sudafed. Dino Rossi promises to make “congestion relief” the number one priority. He even held his finger in the air for emphasis, “number one.” Congestion used to be known as “traffic,” but it’s evolved from a situation into a disease.

Rossi says he is the candidate of change in a year that calls for change, but his list of projects to improve traffic/congestion look suspiciously like Governor Gregoire’s list of top transportation projects, offering us “change you can Xerox.” The only change Rossi would make is to construct them on the cheap and by lifting money out of the general fund, leaving us all shortchanged.
